No plywood . Just x's of 1/4 "  square pine . Epoxy staple - trim and go
ahead and add gorilla glue brown and spray water on so it foams around the
epoxied joint connections . 6 pounds ?
   Styrofoam. Tape it on and spray canned foam to stick it . Then when
dried saw and sand streamlined .
   This gets rigidity from the diagonal bracing instead of thin plywood .
You need one ir the other .
