yes, you will have to redesign the whole plane because after you redesign the wing, you have to redesign the
thing it connects to and then the thing that that connects to.
It would be much easier redesigning the GOAT with the aluminum tubes as it is much easier to just use larger and thicker wall tubes.

Hey all. I have been looking at
some light gliders and came across the
ULF. I was looking at one called the Goat but the
useful load was way
too low for me. It looked somewhat easy to build but I
weigh anywhere
between 250 and 280 depending on my eating and
exercise. I noticed the
useful load was 220 which is still too low but perhaps with
a bit of
redesign in the wing by extending it to 38/40 feet.
Might require some
beefing up of the spar.
It looks like the model planes I have built and I have fair
woodworking
skills.
