Hi John and Member 67 it's a pleasure to hear your response,
It makes sense that the speed limitation of the aircraft will preclude any aerobatic activity. I am still looking forward to learning the art of building a superlight wooden aircraft, especially one with excellent lift and maneuverability. I am not looking to put an engine on my glider, but rather make it light. The lighter it is the closer we can be to the birds. One modification that comes to mind would be a change in airfoil shape that could increase its speed window a touch, though I think I need to experience the feel of takeoff speeds before I go and adjust it.
Is there anyone in CA, or in the western United States, that is active on this site? I will need to find a good source for Member 60 soon.
