My method is:

(1) Copy the original drawings and check their accuracy.

(2) Tape the drawings to a flat board stiffened with aluminium angle on the back so that it will not twist.

(3) Cover with Milar sheet

Then build on this, drilling holes for clamps or positioning blocks (for ribs).

The adhesive will not stick to milar ( I use epoxy 2 part adhesive) and the glued structure can be easily removed

I use lumps of metal to hold down parts but I like Member 67's method of using poly sand bags and will try it.
