Hi Member 67,

I was puzzling over a detail on the rudder actuator assembly over the
last couple of days. According to the drawing on sheet 26, the rudder
actuator is fixed to the rudder by means of one M6 and 3 M5 bolts, while
the detail of the actuator drawn on sheet 27 shows the M6 bolt as being
M5. Which did you end up using ?

A secondary question to all and sundry, is there a recommended way to
produce all the quarter- and semi-circular gussets for the rudder and
elevator ribs ? Cut slightly over-size with scissors, then sand down to
size ? Cut with a knife instead of scissors ? Does anyone know if
these could be laser cut, or if the heat would damage the glue layer and
weaken the ply too much ? If laser cutting is an option, then my local
FabLab would be a good place to visit... (www.fablabmanchester.org in my
case, but there are similar setups in many towns in many countries I
believe).

Thanks all.
