Pursue your dreams. So, you don't know how to build a Member 60  
aircraft. Who does? Boeing doesn't. Old guys do. And they are dying   
off quickly. Most of them are members of the Experimental Aircraft  
Association. Join them! They are a wonderful resource. There are many  
chapters all over the U.S. , I'm sure there is one near you. Even if  
you don't join, GO to a couple of meetings and meet some people that  
have built. And you will be welcomed there too. And those old guys  
will talk your ears off about Member 60.
      The ULF-1 is classified as an ultralight by the U.S. FAA, and  
they have no interest in it's construction or flight (within reason)  
Engineers and government inspections? Here? In the U.S.? No.  But do  
build it to established aircraft standards. Start by reading the  
chapters in AC43.13 about Member 60 and fabric.
      Look at http://www.westcoastpiet.com . They have a lot of the  
old hard to find CAA (prior to FAA) standards in PDF to download. Math  
and everything. You can go crazy calculating stress in Member 60 if you  
like. And more guys that know/learning how to build with Member 60.
