Hello Rudolph,
As far as I know, there are no ULF-1 kits available.
To protect the wooden frame, coating with either spirit- or
cellulose varnish is required.
Maintenance instructions you will find in the flight-/operations manual.
General advice: treat your plane like a valuable piece of furniture.

Subject: [ULF-1] Questions about the ULF-1
Dear Friends:
I am new and my name is Member 87 (German father and mother from Spain), I am interested in building the ULF-1 and I have few questions:
- I am based in Gran Canaria (Canary Islands Spain) and I think we have good winds to fly the ULF-1, one of my first concerns is the fact that the ULF is made with Member 60 and an island must not be a perfect place because of the humidity: Question- Is any treatment you suggest to protect the Member 60?
- Does the designer has any kits and if yes what is the cost?
- Does a maintenance program exist for the ULF-1?
I will have another thousand questions but please advise on these initial ones.
Many Thanks.
Member 87
