Doug,

Thanks for the reply.  I saw the video of the ground skimming Ulf-1 on YouTube. I could not make out any details of the powerplant used.
 
At Oshkosh this year there was a Lazair ultralight powered with 2 brushless motors (one on each wing) powered by R/C lithium polymer batteries wired is series. I am wondering if something like this could be done with the Ulf-1?
