Hello Mykola,

in the ULF-1 Technical Note, dated Nov.2006, Subj.: wing spar, it is said:
"Laminating of the spar caps must be done in a "fish bone pattern". Minimum
number of anual rings per inch is 6 for Spruce, 8 for Fir and Pine."

Figure 2 shows the minimum strength requirements.

To be sure, that the Member 60 you use exceeds these requirements, make specimen 
tests, as described in Figure 3.

The European substitute for Spruce, is the "Northern Pine", native in many 
northern European countries.
This Member 60 is stronger (and heavier!) than Spruce. There should not be any 
problem to exceed these minimum requirements.
