Hi Member 139,
I painted all the interior sections of our ULF-1 with Epifanes varnish thinned 50%/50% with Epifanes thinner. This method kept the weight down, but still gave long term protection to all the Member 60 and foam we used. We also painted the inside of all the sealed assemblies covered by plywood like wing and tail leading edges, wing spar assemblies, etc.
Good luck with your build,
Member 72
