Is that 1 thrust horse power ? I mean a 5 horse engine with a 3 foot prop delivers 50% efficiency or 2.5 thrust horsepower . I calculate 300 pound gross weight ulf would need 1.83 thrust horsepower , but the ulf is super streamlined . Not rough and heavy . That is so cool 1 hp . Flying without a hill .all around that lake was cool . The pilot waved at the camera . Was that a 6 hp on that plane or an 8 ? I have an old chrysler industrial 2 stroke that is yellow like that size . This is where we determined the ULF-1 can get airborne on 1 HP!!
