[ULF-1] Reduced scale drawings

Hello again everyone 

I noticed in Member 67’s picture build log that it looked as if he had enlarged the drawings of the horizontal stabilizer spar and the main bulkhead specifically, and laid up the parts right over this. The folks at alpha graphics tell me that this is prohibitively expensive to do, since their personnel would have to go through the scan and crop to make it fit on their large format paper.  I will try a different copy shop to see if they have a different answer.  If anyone has a better way to do this please let me know. Reading through the plans and build guide, it seems that Dieter wants the builder to hand draw the dimensions out using the loft line drawings as the final controlling dimension.  I guess that blowing up a scaled drawing doesn’t get you this unless you match it up carefully to the loft lines at the spars. Which brings me to me next nagging question: is the loft line drawing printed on a stable medium? It looks and feels like regular copy paper, is the purpose of using it as the control to standardize any irregularity in dimensional stability, ie everyone’s playing. 1/4 step off to the same tuning fork?
