Hi,

GL1 is available, but difficult to find now as the inspection process is expensive.

Basically, it all comes out of Koskissen's factory in Finland and small batches are inspected and signed off as GL1. The reality is that the grade they submit for testing is the one you want which I think is A/B but I will check.

There are two UK suppliers of this plywood which is checked/inspected to a standard agreed with the UK LAA which is pretty much an equivalent. Basically the maker's quality standards are high and the inspection involves checking for voids. I would suggest that you contact SATCO The Swindon aircraft timber company (search google) who should be able to help you if LAA standards are acceptable to you approving authority. What approval do you need?
