[ULF-1] Getting started-workshop setup suggestions

Hi everyone. 

I just received my plan set from Dieter, and wow; I thought I liked this aircraft before, I am amazed at the thought and care that went into the elegant beauty of this design.  

I wanted to touch base with recent builders about the dimensions and design of work benches, preferred equipment and layout of the shop in general for fabricating this wooden glider. Did you use engineered lumber for the tables? EAA chap 1000 modular tables? Something else? 

Right now I have a 10” bandsaw and a drill press. What other essential equipment would you recommend, or a link to such would be much appreciated.
