Hi ULF-1 builders,

I have been a bit derelict lately in not reporting the progress on our project.  Me and our Build Team (EAA Chapter 309, Charlotte, NC) are 2 years into the build.  We have completed the entire tail (horizontal stab., elevator, fin, and rudder), the rear fuselage boom, bulkheads #1 and #2, and are now coming down the home stretch on the seat beam.  We have designed a 12" main landing gear wheel and steerable nose wheel and fairing, along with the twin pusher motor mounts on the trailing edge of the wings.  Wing construction should commence by this summer. Our hope is to have a fully completed electric self-launched version completed by the next winter Olympics in 2018!!
