  Remember, in the U.S. we are building according to ultralight rules,  
not certified aircraft rules. AC43-13B does not apply to us, though I  
wouldn't build without it! Take a look at the Experiment Aircraft  
Association (EAA)(join them) web site to find additional books and  
information on building a modern aircraft structure from Member 60.  
Westcoastpiet.com has a lot of links to historical Member 60 info as well  
as modern. If I was thinking of putting an engine on a Member 60 built  
aircraft ,I would really be looking hard at the Pietenpol Aircamper.
  Using epoxy at every joint will add hours to your build time. And,  
will add strength,longevity,cost, and most importantly safety to your  
aircraft. "Take your time , your butt's on the line". Remember, make  
some extra ribs and joints for destructive testing your technique and  
materials, as they age, and store them with the aircraft.
