Dear Doug,
I´m agree with Karl, it´s a little bit difficult to navigate the site. Yahoo groups are easy to navigate and you could attach (up to 100MB) of photos and archives. Each member of the group could create his own folder and attach information.
There are ways to share personal data to contact another member of the group.
Don´t take it as an offense, your work with the ULF-1 group is very good, but I think that there are better ways to keep the group growing.

I don't think there is anything unfriendly about sending photos via this
list. In reviewing the photos that Lars sent me privately, they ranged
from very small (200 KB) and corrupt (probably incomplete files) to very
large (up to 2.5 MB), a bit large to be e-mailing internationally. The
photos he attached to his list message were small and corrupt.
In setting up ulf-1.com, it was my desire to not only promote Dieter's
design, but to provide a forum for its community that is classier than a
Yahoo group, and free from advertising. To each his own, but in the
regard of promotion, I don't think a Yahoo group will be very visible to
those searching for information on the ULF-1. Following the google
search I just did for "ulf-1", Dieter's site was the first return
and
ulf-1.com was the second. Exactly as it should be, in my opinion. In all
the googling I've done, I don't recall ever being directed to a Yahoo
group.
It's curious that it took an announcement that this site and list might
be discontinued to prompt a burst of interest and activity. If this was
the norm, I'd be happy to keep it going. But I still think that Dieter
should pay for it, and I have seen no interest from him in that regard.
(It's less than $20 US for 1 year registration and privacy protection
for the webmaster.)

Hi Doug,
I found your site by goggling ULF-1. I believe I found the ULF-1.com
site by digging thru Dieter's web site on the links page. After I
registered for this site and once I figured out how to navigate on it, I
spent an evening pecking thru each message. Forgive me but it was
cumbersome. Please do not take offense. I think we should only have
one site as you recommended. Yahoo groups format seems to be easy and
very manageable to organize. Chris has demonstrated this already.
Could you check it out? Could you do the same on this site? Input from
everyone would be nice. Agree or Disagree.

Hi to all of you and sorry for the trouble regarding the photos.
Enclosed is a report about the project with photos of fuselage and tail unit.
Since it?s a word document it should work for anybody of you now.
I think the trouble is caused by the damn camera which uses Kodak "Easy
Share".
Yep, i confess i?m not a computer crack. Hopefully it works now.
