Hi Member 12 and all of you, 
i´ve send the photos again as an attachement. Hope this time it works. 
You will notice some minor changes to fuselage and tail unit. All struts that have been specified in the plan to be made of balsa have been substituted with light pine (pinus sylvestris). The reason for this change is based on the difficulty of obtaining balsa that is long enough here. 
On the tail unit all ribs received 2cm wide capstrips made of 0,8mm ply. It add´s strength with a moderate weight increase and provides a larger surface for the covering. To save weight we will not install the movable seat and the flaps on the cockpit bottom. We go with a fixed solution. Footlaunch is something tricky and for security reasons this kind of take off will not be used. 
Also for security reason we will install the hood on our bird. Should one of the boys ditch it ones in a forest we can prevent being hurt by branches. 
Right now i estimate that that we will end with an empty weight of 60 kgs. 
The construction takes place in Berlin/Germany and we are a group of 7.
