[ULF-1] Ulf building in the USA- and weight?

I know a guy in Chattanooga Tennessee that has been building 
a ULF-1 for about rhree years now.  It has been at least
two years since I last heard from him and at that time he
was just finishing his wings.
Considering the claimed empty weight of the ULF-1 being
about 110 pounds if I recall correctly, is that a weight
that is being realistically achieved by most builders ?

In any case, I was wondering also what the wings weigh
alone without any other part of the plane.
